Video/Audio Editing

My first attempt at Foley. Recording was a bit challenging at times; we had to rewatch the footage a few times before actually recording the sound. We also spent quite a bit time finding objects that could produce the sound we had in mind. Editing was simpler, I just adjusted the volume and making sure it sounded seamless and in sync.

I acted as an interviewer for a video! During editing, we realized a few mistakes made during filming, but we managed to fix them by refilming the scenes. It was actually raining that day, and the canteen was really crowded and noisy, so we had to do a lot of mixing and denoising in post-production.

A video on drug addiction and the consequences. While editing, some audios were softer than the others, so I had to learn to adjust the levels. Some other audios also had too much background noise; hence I had to take the extra steps to get rid of it as well.

First time editing a podcast, trying out different effects and various sound effects to enhance the audio and make it sound more immersive.

All art by me! I wanted to try making a long music video with my own art, I spend most time on the typography and the timing the lyrics to the song as compared to actually drawing the art.

Edited my gameplay into a video for our friend group to laugh at so it was just simply adding funny sound effects and silly pictures.

I had to fix some audio syncing issues, sometimes I had to go back and redo certain SFX, edit the music track because they weren't synced to the visuals.

There were also parts where I had to adjust voice audios because they were too soft, or lower down music tracks because they were too loud.

I played around with colours, effects, and some animation. I had some trouble with the animation as I had to make sure it was seamless, and I had to figure out the animation speed. Syncing them to the audio was also another issue that took a few tries to figure out.

There was another art trend going around online, so I decided to give it a try! This is a relatively simple piece of work that I made for my friends, so there weren't many problems I faced, maybe except for adjusting and rearranging layers to make sure they were in the correct place.

Music :3 I like really crystal-like sounds, so I use them a lot when I make music. Both of these are inspired by "Infinite Amethyst" by Lena Raine, and "The Angel who Calls Itself Time" by Cymbals.
